Handling Image Upload to Social and other Websites
Image Archiving and Unarchving
archiving and unarchiving images
We all upload photos at Facebook or other Social Network Websites. Millions of photos are getting uploaded every day. But the question is how those images are getting managed at server level. How the photo upload and sharing is being managed at that level. It’s not possible to store images in to Database or at any Web server Folder. So how about managing millions of photos daily. No book demonstrates how one can make out sharing or previewing . So idea was to archive and unarchive images. Whenever one tries to view your images or of your friends the code level behaves in such a way where it unarchives your images with respect to a folder name which one has mentioned while creating or you can see the snaps automatically getting stored in to a window preview level. So you can see if one tried to download any particular image from Facebook the image shows auto generated image names with their particular extension. Thus one who uploads any images in to Facebook its content gets archived and are thus stored, while Vice Versa (unarchiving) happens with previewing level and upon completion the Archived level gets disposed thus leaving only archived folder. The Light Window which shows image access would be discussed with MooTool Classes.
